Franchisee Requirements for Potential Buyers
Financial Criteria:
- Need a net worth of at least 50% of the purchase price or $75,000, whichever is higher.
- Must have liquid assets of at least 20% of the purchase price or $30,000, whichever is higher.
- Operating capital should be a minimum of $25,000 or 33% of fixed and semi-variable expenses, including debt service and manager salary (up to $100,000).
Financial Verification:
- Net worth and liquid assets must be confirmed by a financial statement from a bank or financial institution. The statement should show net worth over time.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) is preferred.
- Previous franchise or business experience, along with relevant degrees or industry knowledge, is beneficial.
Please note: Prospective franchisees from Montana and North Dakota are preferred, and they should ideally possess restaurant management experience.
